7 Tips to Sell Your Home in Winter

1. Keep the temperature up during showing and open houses. This will create a warm and welcoming environment that potential buyers will notice immediately as they enter the house.

​2. Showcase the fireplace. If you have a fireplace in your house, keep a crackling fire going to keep the house cozy and draw attention to this selling feature.

​3. No Shoes! Post a sign on the front door or entrance that asks guest to take their shoes off. If snow is on the ground and many people are touring the house, this will cut down on the amount of water and mud that will get tracked in.

4. Emphasize rooms that will be appealing in winter months. Attract attention to rooms like home gyms, theater rooms, heated garages and sheds.
